Xavi Pascual's Regal FC Barcelona defeated Real Madrid for 73-69 in Game 5 of the ACB Finals and won the title, repeating the victory of last year! It was a great series, as well as it was a great Game 5: the two teams dueled for the entire 40', keeping always short distances, with Barça going at +4 at 10' (16-12) and +5 at halftime (39-34), then increasing the lead until +9 at 30' (56-47) and finally resisting against the tentatives to come back made by Real, conceding to reduce 5 points of the lead but not more. And so the "blau-grana" players won both the game and the title, writing history once more. Erazem Lorbek was named as MVP Finals, and this time he did something special: despite of suffering a fainting in the morning, he wanted to be part of Game 5, and he did it deciding the final rush and totalizing 10 points and 6 rebounds. Pete Mickael signed 17 points more 9 rebounds, Fran Vazquez added 16+8, while for Real Madrid Carroll scored 16 points, followed by Singler and Llull with 12 each and Mirotic 10. Xavi's words: "This title had the greatest value, because of problems and injuries we had to pass through..." and dedicating to Lorbek... "He gave everything he had, he couldn't give more!". Congratulations to Xavi Pascual, all his staff and club management and for sure the players for this great success by Invictus Sports Group.
