MICHELE FORINO was born on May 8th, 1972 in Bologna, Italy, where he lives with his wife Carla and sons Gianluca and Alessandro. Early on he combined classical studies with a passion for basketball and in 1989 started to work in the communications area of Cesena A1 women’s team (1 Italian Championship, 1 Champions Cup and 1 Ronchetti Cup). From 1995 he collaborated with SportSystem in marketing promotions for the Champion brand (NBA 3vs3, European and Italian Championship), then from 1996 he was Communications Director at Fortitudo Bologna for 14 years (2 Italian Championship, 1 Italian Cup, 2 Italian Supercup).
