Double step forward for Sito Alonso's Lagun Aro GBC, that defeated FIATC Joventut on the home court of San Sebastian with the score of 90-85 and climbed the ranking once more, reaching back the 5th place. Thanks to this win, the team improved its season record to 17-3, on a tie with Sevilla and Bilbao, but going directly in front of them. The game saw Badalona trying to run in the first period (21-24), but Lagun Aro answered with a +8 both in the second period (31-23, for the halftime score of 52-47) and in the third (25-17, for the 77-64 at 30'), then controlled the reaction of Joventut until the end, losing the latest partial by 8 points but winning the game. The duel against FIATC Joventut - just the club where Sito Alonso worked for six seasons, firstly as assistant coach of Aito and then as head coach - represented once more a key moment: in the first round, it came just in the worst situation of the season, with Lagun Aro on the bottom of the ranking with 2-8, and there it started the great reaction with 8 wins out of 9 games. Then continuing until the present, adding 6 more wins and 3 losses for a total streak of 15-5 since that day. Simply amazing...
