Waiting for the Final Four of the ABA Adriatic League to be held in Tel Aviv between April 28th and 30th 2012, Partizan Belgrade started the Serbian Superleague, getting a road win in the first round on the court of Mega Vizura for 71-87. Milan Mačvan immediately was the leader of the team also in this competition, leading Partizan with a very good performance: he scored 12 points and added 7 rebounds and 5 assists for a personal ranking of 23 in 25', while Marko Čakarević also contributed with a solid performance, scoring 2 points with 3 rebounds and, most of all, dishing 5 assists in 17'. Partizan took the lead in the first period for 18-24, then increased it to +10 at halftime (38-48) and made even more in the third period, with a 12-23 break for 50-71 and finally controlling the game until the end.
