In the 9th game of ACB, Lucentum Alicante (now 6th placed, 6-3) won on the court of Lagun Aro GBC (16th, 2-7). The team coached by Sito Alonso did not find the win, despite of playing on a tie for all the game against a higher level team, as often happened until now. The home team started better in the game for the 15-10 of the first period, then suffered the 20-26 break made by Lucentum for the halftime score of 35-36. Lagun Aro GBC took back the lead once more in the third period by 2 points (55-53), but in the last period Lucentum forced coach Alonso's players to score only 13 points (to 18) and got the road win for 68-71.
