It was a very delicated game for the ranking, even if we are just at the beginning of the regular season, between Asefa Estudiantes (16th place, 1-2) and Lagun Aro (17th place, 0-3). And playing in Madrid was a key factor to decide the winner, after a "crazy" game in which Sito Alonso's Lagun Aro GBC took the lead and ran away until the +21 of 25-46, but Pepu Hernandez's Asefa Estudiantes came back and completed the recovery winning the game on a thrilling final for 62-58. Lagun Aro forced the home team to score only 8 points in the first period (8-19), and increased its lead of 5 more points in the second period (12-17, for the halftime score of 20-36), but in the third period, firstly Estudiantes scored 5 points in a row (25-36) but then Lagun Aro answered with a tremendous 0-10 to get the +21 (25-46), looking on the point to kill the game. But everything changed in a while, with Estudiantes forcing the opponent to a terrific break of 16-3 in the last 5' of the period, recovering 8 points since the halftime (21-13, for the 41-49) and then forced back Lagun Aro to score only 9 points in the last period, with a decisive 21-9 to win the game. Once more, the team coached by Sito Alonso played a great "part" of the game, but without finding the continuity to get the victory. Now, Lagun Aro is 18th placed in the ranking with 0-4, and next Sunday there will be to play on the road once more, on the court of CAI Zaragoza.
