When he decided to leave Cajasol Sevilla at the end of the 2010/2011 season, he immediately explained that the only reason was his strong desire to make one more step and become head coach. And today it's time to announce that Zan Tabak is the new head coach of CB Sant Josep Girona in Leb Oro for the 2011/2012 season. It's a very good opportunity for Tabak, because the club is starting to build a completely new and important project, and it's a very good choice made by the club management, because Zan has great motivations, as well as an incommensurable experience: a twenty-year career as professional basketball player between 1985 and 2005, followed by the role of international scout and then assistant coach at the NBA summer league for the New York Knicks, and finally by the last five seasons as assistant coach in the ACB, respectively three with Real Madrid and two with Cajasol Sevilla. INVICTUS Sports Group congratulates both with CB Sant Josep Girona and Zan Tabak. The official presentation will be held tomorrow at h. 13.00.
